Walking up to the 2026 Ember E-SERIES 21FBE

Pull up next to one of these on our Millcreek lot and the proportions register first. The 2026 Ember E-SERIES 21FBE runs 25.92 feet tip to tail, stands 11 feet 2 inches tall, and is a full 8 feet wide, which matters more inside than it sounds like it should. Along the side is an 18-foot electric awning with a dimmable LED light bar, so an evening at Jordanelle doesn't turn into a hunt for lanterns. High-visibility LED exterior lighting and back-up lighting are standard, and that back-up lighting earns its keep the first time you're reversing into a site at Sand Hollow after dark.

Crouch down before we go in. The chassis is HSLA steel, Ember's NXG frame, put together with Huck fasteners rather than relying on welds that work loose over washboard. Underneath it sits a fully enclosed radiant-barrier underbelly with 12V tank heaters, and the axles are Dexter Torflex torsion units with E-Z Lube hubs and self-adjusting brakes. Torsion suspension handles the chop on a dirt road into the San Rafael Swell better than leaf springs do. It rolls on Goodyear Endurance Load Range E tires and off-road tires on custom aluminum wheels, and the steel fenders are heavy enough to double as a step when you need to reach the roof.

The walls, floor and roof are laminated Azdel composite, so there's no wood in the sidewall structure to soak up moisture. Up top it's a one-piece Tufflex PVC roof you can actually walk on, wrapped in fiberglass, which is useful because the 400 watts of rooftop solar will eventually need a rinse after a dusty week.

Around back there's a frame-integrated 2-inch accessory receiver rated at 250 pounds. Bike rack, cargo tray, whatever you hang off it, it's tied into the frame rather than bolted to a bumper tube.

The powder-coated steel outside kitchen with a griddle and sink is where a lot of Utah camping actually happens. Breakfast outside in Moab in April means the smell stays out of the coach, and there's an LP quick connect for a grill or a fire pit so you're not juggling green bottles. Dual LP tanks feed it, and a coiled break-away cable comes standard.

E-SERIES 21FBE — pass through storage
Pass through storage

Pass-through storage runs across the front, and this is where the 1,685 pounds of cargo capacity stops being a number on a sticker. Camp chairs, a generator, firewood, leveling blocks, skis in the shoulder season.

Through the door

Step in and the ceiling is the first thing you'll feel: 82 inches of headroom, with that full 8-foot width carried through. Hardwood-framed doors with hidden hinges, roller shades on the windows, and Congoleum DiamondFlor carpetless flooring throughout, so red Moab dust sweeps out instead of grinding in.

The kitchen has a stainless steel sink, a 12V 10 cubic foot refrigerator, and an air fryer convection microwave. The 12V fridge is the one worth pausing on, because it runs off the battery bank and solar instead of propane, which means it keeps working while you're climbing Parley's or sitting at 9,000 feet on the Mirror Lake Highway where absorption fridges get lazy.

E-SERIES 21FBE — living dinette
Living dinette

The dinette and living area sit in the slide-out, which is what buys you floor space you can actually stand in while someone else is cooking. A Bluetooth AV system handles music, there are USB-C ports for charging, and a 12V multi-speed fan with a remote plus a rainproof low-profile 12V Maxx-Air roof fan move air on the nights it's warm enough to skip the air conditioning. The Luxury Package brings an 18,000 BTU Max Cool air conditioner, the largest single unit in this class, which you'll appreciate in July in St. George.

E-SERIES 21FBE — bedroom
Bedroom

This is a two-person floorplan, and it's built like one. The front bed is a true residential queen at 60 by 80 inches, so your sheets from home fit and you're not wrestling with a short mattress. Storage around it is real closet space rather than a token cubby, which is what separates a trailer you can live in for three weeks from one you camp in for a weekend.

E-SERIES 21FBE — bathroom
Bathroom

The bath has a porcelain foot-flush toilet and a shower with enough room to turn around in. With 55 gallons of fresh water and 35 gallons each of grey and black, navy showers and a dish tub stretch things out considerably in the Uintas or out on BLM ground near Moab.

Power, heat and off-grid time

E-SERIES 21FBE — control panel
Control panel

Four hundred watts of rooftop solar and a 2,000 watt inverter make this a travel trailer with solar you can genuinely use, not a token panel. Run the fridge, charge laptops, make coffee. The 30,000 BTU furnace plus 12V tank heaters and that heated underbelly handle October nights in the high country when it drops into the twenties. The SmartLink control system puts tanks, lights and climate on one panel, and the unit also comes prepped for a rear or side observation camera, TPMS, Wi-Fi, satellite, a slide topper, and additional rooftop and slide solar.

Safety equipment is standard: smoke, CO and LP detectors, plus a fire extinguisher.

What it takes to tow

Dry weight is 5,110 pounds with a 550 pound hitch weight, and GVWR is 6,795. Loaded to the ceiling you're under 6,800 pounds across two axles, which puts it comfortably inside what a half-ton pickup handles on Highway 6 toward Price or over Sardine Canyon. That's a meaningful difference from heavier couples' coaches when you're descending Parley's with a hot brake controller. Among new travel trailers in this length, the weight-to-equipment ratio here is the argument.

If you've been looking at travel trailers for sale in Utah and want an Ember travel trailer you can take off pavement, come walk this one.

Frequently asked questions

How many people does this floorplan sleep?

Two. It's laid out as a couple's trailer, with a residential queen measuring 60 by 80 inches rather than bunks or a convertible setup.

What truck do I need to tow it?

Dry weight is 5,110 pounds and GVWR is 6,795, with a 550 pound hitch weight dry. Most properly equipped half-ton pickups handle that, but check your specific truck's tow rating and payload before you buy.

Can I dry camp in it?

Yes. It carries 55 gallons of fresh water, 35 gallons of grey and 35 of black, with 400 watts of rooftop solar and a 2,000 watt inverter, plus a 12V refrigerator that runs off the battery.

Will it handle cold nights in the mountains?

The 30,000 BTU furnace, 12V tank heaters and the fully enclosed radiant-barrier underbelly are built for shoulder-season camping in places like the Uintas.

Is it built for dirt roads?

Torsion axles, Load Range E Goodyear Endurance tires, off-road tires on aluminum wheels and a Huck-fastened steel chassis are all standard on this line.

Come see it in person in Millcreek, or check the live listing for current photos and details on the units we have on the ground.
