2026 Keystone Raptor 430 Walk-Around

Start outside with the 2026 Keystone Raptor 430

Stand back a bit before you walk up to this one, because 45 feet 10 inches of fifth wheel toy hauler reads differently in person than it does on paper. It rides on 215/75R17.5H tires, which is commercial-grade rubber, and that matters in July when you're running I-15 south at 80 degrees of pavement heat with a loaded garage behind you. Overall height is 13 feet 3 inches, so make a mental note of it now for the drive-thrus and the older overpasses you'll meet on the back way to Moab.

The rear is where the sales pitch writes itself. The ramp doubles as a patio with its own awning and patio steps, and behind it there's a sliding rear patio door, so once the ramp is down and the toys are unloaded you've got a covered deck with a real door into the coach instead of a hole where a ramp used to be. The garage itself measures 15 feet. That's enough room for a pair of dirt bikes plus gear, a side-by-side, or the sled setup you drag up to Strawberry in February.

Awnings are a 10-footer and a 13-footer, which means shade on more than one side and shade over the patio when the sun swings west at Sand Hollow. The Exterior Adventure Package brings the outside-living gear along, and there's an outdoor kitchen built in, so breakfast doesn't have to happen in the same aisle people are trying to walk through.

Down low you've got pass-through storage. Chairs, hoses, leveling blocks, a generator's worth of tools, all of it out of the living space. Two LP tanks ride along, and there's an onboard 5.5K generator with 60 pounds of fuel capacity on the sheet, which is the difference between a dry weekend at Little Sahara being comfortable and being a chore.

Six-point hydraulic auto leveling is standard. You hit the button, the unit sorts itself out, and you're done. On a 21,000-pound GVWR rig that's not a luxury feature, it's the thing that keeps you from stacking blocks for twenty minutes on a sloped BLM pad off the Knolls exit.

Inside, from the kitchen back

The galley is set up for people who actually cook. There's a 12-volt, 20 cubic foot refrigerator, which is a serious amount of cold storage and runs off the battery bank rather than needing propane to keep up. A convection microwave handles the baking and reheating without you hauling a second appliance. The Interior Luxury Package and the Loam decor give it a warmer, more finished look than you expect from a rig built to carry machines.

Three slide-outs open the living space up, and the dinette area is where the family will end up parked with the doors open. There's TV prep, so mounting and wiring a screen is a plug-in job, not a project. The roll-over sofas with the bonus bunk and the HappiJack sofa/folding bed are what get this floorplan to a sleeping capacity of 8, and they do it without stealing daytime seating. Fold everything up in the morning and the space goes back to being a room.

The iN Command smart automation system puts lights, tanks, climate and awnings on one panel (and your phone). Check tank levels before you make the run to the dump station instead of guessing. The Triple A/C Package is worth calling out for Utah specifically: three roof units in a 45-foot coach means the living space and the garage don't fight each other for cool air in St. George in August.

The bathroom is full-size, with a shower you can actually turn around in after a dusty day on the Paiute Trail.

The bedroom takes a king bed, which is the spec most couples care about most. After a long tow day up and over Parleys, that bed is the reason you bought a big rig instead of something you have to crawl into.

Closet storage is real storage, deep enough for a week's clothes plus riding gear that needs to live somewhere other than the garage floor.
Boondocking and power
The Velocity Package and Solar Flex Discover system bring 440 watts of solar and a 2000-watt inverter, backed by that 5.5K generator. Fresh water is 173 gallons, which is a genuinely large tank and the number that decides how long you can stay put at Five Mile Pass or out on the Swell. Grey is 104 gallons and black is 52, so showers are the limiting factor before drinking water ever is. Between solar, inverter and generator, you can run the 12-volt fridge, keep phones and radios charged, and have a heat source for the cold nights that show up in the Uintas even in August.
What you need to tow it
Dry weight is 17,518 pounds with a GVWR of 21,000, which leaves 3,660 pounds of cargo capacity. Hitch weight is 3,770 pounds dry, and that number goes up as you load. This is a one-ton truck rig, and if you're shopping a new toy hauler in this size class, bring your truck's door-jamb sticker with you so we can check payload against that pin weight honestly before you ever hook up. Loaded properly, a dually handles the pull up Parleys Canyon or the grade out of Spanish Fork Canyon without drama. Also check length limits before you book: at nearly 46 feet, some older Utah state park loops won't take this.
If you've been comparing Keystone toy hauler floorplans and want a garage with a patio door instead of just a ramp, this is the layout to walk through. We keep toy haulers for sale in Utah on the lot here in Millcreek year-round, and this is one of the bigger ones we stock.
Frequently asked questions
What is a fifth wheel toy hauler?
It's an RV that hitches to a pin box in the bed of a pickup and includes a dedicated cargo garage with a drop-down ramp. This floorplan has a 15-foot garage with a ramp that converts to an awning-covered patio and a sliding rear patio door.
How many people does the Raptor 430 sleep?
Eight. The sleeping capacity comes from the king bed plus the roll-over sofas with bonus bunk and the HappiJack sofa/folding bed in the living and garage areas.
Can I dry camp in it?
Yes. It carries 173 gallons of fresh water, 104 gallons of grey and 52 gallons of black, with 440 watts of solar, a 2000-watt inverter and a 5.5K onboard generator.
What truck do I need?
Plan on a one-ton. Dry weight is 17,518 pounds against a 21,000-pound GVWR, with a 3,770-pound dry hitch weight, so payload on your truck is the number to verify first.
Does it have air conditioning for southern Utah summers?
It comes with the Triple A/C Package, which is three units across a coach this long, plus 6-point hydraulic auto leveling and the iN Command system to manage it all.
Come see it on the lot in Millcreek and walk the garage with a tape measure if you want to check your machines against that 15 feet. Current photos and specs are on the live listing.
