Towing the 2026 Keystone Raptor 441 starts with your truck, not the floorplan

This is a big fifth wheel, and the numbers say so before you ever step inside. The 2026 Keystone Raptor 441 measures 44 ft 9 in long and 13 ft 3 in tall, rides on three axles rated at 8,000 lbs with 215/75R17.5H tires, and carries a GVWR of 21,000 lbs against a dry weight of 16,755 lbs. That gap is your cargo capacity: 4,245 lbs for fuel, fresh water, tools, gear and whatever you're hauling in the garage.

Pin weight is the number that decides your truck. It's listed at 3,770 lbs dry, and it only goes up as you load the front half of the coach and fill the fresh tank. That weight sits on your truck's rear axle along with the hitch hardware, your passengers and your own fuel, so the honest check is the payload sticker in your door jamb and the towing tables in your owner's manual, not a rule of thumb from the campground. Height matters too. At 13 ft 3 in you're planning routes around low clearances, and at nearly 45 feet you're checking site length limits before you book.

The three numbers to write down before you shop trucks are 3,770 lbs of pin weight, 21,000 lbs GVWR and 4,245 lbs of cargo capacity.

Pin weight tells you whether your rear axle and payload can legally carry it, GVWR tells you what the combined rig will scale at loaded, and cargo capacity tells you how much machine, fuel and water you can actually bring.

Run all three against your own truck's ratings, and the rest of the decision gets simple.

Off-grid capacity and power

Tank capacity here is built for long weekends away from hookups. Fresh water is 173 gallons, grey is 104 and black is 52, so showers and dishes are usually what runs out first, not drinking water. The Girard tankless on-demand water heater helps, since you're not waiting on a small tank to recover between showers.

Power is 50 amp service with 440W of solar on the roof and a 2000W inverter, so lights, the 12V refrigerator and the outlets the inverter feeds keep working without the generator running all day. Two 30 lb LP tanks feed the 35,000 BTU furnace, and the Triple A/C Package brings the total cooling to 30,000 BTU, which matters in a coach this long with a garage door that gets opened all day in July. A dedicated 60 gallon fuel station keeps the gas for your machines out of the living space.

Sleeping nine, and where the gear goes

Bedroom

The floorplan sleeps 9 and does it without anyone drawing the short straw. There's a king bed in the front bedroom, plus a bunk, roll over sofas with a bonus bunk and a HappiJack sofa that folds down into a bed. Three slides open the center living area up so the sleeping spaces aren't stacked on top of each other, and interior height is a full 8 feet, which is the difference between a bunkhouse toy hauler that feels tight and one that doesn't.

Storage follows the same logic. Pass-through exterior storage swallows the chairs, hoses and totes that otherwise clutter the garage, and the garage itself runs 14 feet with a power ramp door. The Ramp Patio package with its own awning and patio steps turns that ramp into a deck when the toys are out.

The kitchen is set up to cook real food. Four burners, convection cooking and a convection microwave, and a 20 cu ft 12V refrigerator, which is a residential-sized box that runs off the battery bank instead of LP. There's an outdoor kitchen as well, so burgers and breakfast can happen outside without tracking through the coach.

The center bath is a genuine full bath with a 42 in by 30 in shower, and there's provision for a washer and dryer, available if you want it for long trips.

Entertainment is already handled: a 50 in Smart LED TV in the living area, a Smart LED TV in the bedroom, a 40 in Smart LED TV in the garage and a 50 in exterior Smart TV. Outside there are three Girard cassette electric awnings with LED lighting, measuring 10 ft, 13 ft and 13 ft, so shade follows you around the coach. Front and rear power leveling jacks take the guesswork out of setting up on an uneven site, and two entry doors keep garage traffic separate from the living space.

This one also carries the Velocity Package, the Interior Luxury Package and the Exterior Adventure Package as standard, which is a good chunk of what buyers usually end up checking boxes for on a Keystone toy hauler.

2026 versus the 2027

We stock both model years of this floorplan, and this post is about the 2026. The 2027 version is listed at 45.75 ft rather than 44 ft 9 in, with a dry weight of 17,348 lbs instead of 16,755, a hitch weight of 3,990 lbs instead of 3,770, a GVWR listed at 17,260 and sleeping capacity of 8 rather than 9. Tank capacities are the same on both, at 173 fresh, 104 grey and 52 black. If pin weight is tight against your truck's payload, the 220 lb difference is worth knowing about.

If you're shopping a new toy hauler and this size range fits your truck, come see it at Motor Sportsland in Millcreek. There aren't many toy haulers for sale in Utah with this much garage, tank and sleeping capacity in one trailer.

The live listing has the complete spec sheet, current photos and everything else on this unit. Stop by the store and we'll back your truck up to it and check the pin height and clearance in person before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

What is a fifth wheel toy hauler?

It's an RV that hitches to a pin box in your truck bed rather than a bumper hitch, with a built-in garage behind the living space for motorcycles, side-by-sides or bikes. This one has a 14 ft garage with a power ramp door, plus a 60 gallon fuel station for the machines.

What truck do I need to tow it?

Start with the 3,770 lb dry pin weight and the 21,000 lb GVWR, then compare them against the payload figure on your truck's door jamb sticker and the towing capacity in your owner's manual. Loaded pin weight will be higher than the dry number, so leave yourself margin.

How many people does it sleep?

Nine. That's a king bed, one bunk, roll over sofas with a bonus bunk and a HappiJack sofa that folds into a bed.

Can it camp without hookups?

Yes. It carries 173 gallons of fresh water, 104 grey and 52 black, with 440W of solar, a 2000W inverter and a Girard tankless on-demand water heater.

How tall and long is it?

It's 44 ft 9 in long and 13 ft 3 in tall, with 8 ft of interior height. Check campground length limits and any low clearances on your route before you go.
