Hitching up: what the 2026 KZRV Connect 313MK asks of your truck

Start at the tongue, because that's where the decisions get made. This floorplan runs 36.33 feet long with a 1,090-pound hitch weight and a dry weight of 8,680 pounds. GVWR is 8,790, and cargo capacity comes in at 1,322 pounds. Do that math before you shop, not after: a half-ton with the right payload and a weight-distributing hitch is the conversation to have, and it's a conversation worth having honestly at the lot rather than in a campground entrance.

The tongue jack is lighted, which sounds like a small thing until you're hooking up in the dark at the end of a long day. Two LP tanks come with the trailer, so you're not rationing propane across a long weekend in the Uintas. Dual axles under an eight-foot-wide body track predictably, and the One Control system includes TPMS prep if you want tire pressure on the monitor.

Underneath, the underbelly is fully enclosed, insulated and heated, protecting tanks and plumbing. The numbers behind that: R-9 sidewalls, R-20 roof, R-24 floor. In Utah, where you can leave 85 degrees in Spanish Fork and be sleeping at 40 degrees a couple of hours later, insulation is not a brochure line, it's comfort.

Pulling in and setting up

Three slides go out on this plan, and that's where the OneControl monitor and switch panel earns its spot. Slides, leveling, awning and lighting all run off the KZ Engage package, and the same panel watches your battery level. Front power leveling handles the up-and-down; rear jacks are manual as standard, with front and rear electric stabilizer jacks available if you'd rather push a button at all four corners.

The exterior docking station puts your water and utility connections in one place behind a door, and the dump valves are enclosed rather than hanging in the weather. There's pass-through storage for the chairs, the leveling blocks and the hoses you don't want inside the coach.

Roll the awning out from the panel. Under it you've got your shaded outdoor living space, which on a hot afternoon at Yuba or Sand Hollow is where everybody actually sits.

On the roof, a 200-watt solar panel with a 30-amp MPPT controller is available as an option. That's a genuine travel trailer with solar, not just a port on the sidewall. It keeps your battery topped up through a dry-camping weekend so the lights, the fan and the water pump don't drain you by Saturday night. If you want to go further off pavement, the Off the Grid solar package is available, adding two 110-watt flexible panels and a 1,200-watt pure sine wave inverter.

Cooking and eating

Inside, the interior height is 6 feet 10 inches, which matters the moment a six-footer stands up under a ceiling vent. The kitchen runs a three-burner cooktop, and the counter space is real counter space, not a strip beside the sink. Uni Sangrau cabinetry gives you the overhead and under-counter storage to actually unpack groceries instead of living out of bins.

The refrigerator sits in the kitchen run with cabinetry built around it, so a week of food for six doesn't require a second cooler in the truck bed.

Fresh water holds 45 gallons, with 32 gallons each of grey and black. That's the governing number for how long you boondock. Two sinks of dishes a day and short showers will stretch it; long showers will not.

The evening

The dinette and living area are where three slides pay off. With the room pushed out, there's floor you can cross without turning sideways, and the dinette seats the family for cards after dinner. A 13,500 BTU air conditioner handles the cooling, and the RV Airflow System routes that air more efficiently, improving airflow by an average of 40 percent. It cools faster and runs quieter. A 15,000 BTU unit is available in its place, and a second 13,500 BTU unit is available as well if you camp in St. George in July.

When the sun drops, the furnace puts out 30,000 BTU, which is plenty for shoulder-season nights at altitude. Roller shades pull down on the living windows. The entry door is friction-hinged with a grab bar and a screen-shot feature, so the screen stays put instead of slamming behind the last kid inside.

Sleeping

The bedroom gets pleated night shades, which block more light than a standard shade, and LED lighting you can run without waking the whole coach. Total sleeping capacity on this floorplan is six.

His-and-hers full-length closets are the detail long-trip people notice. Full-length means hanging space for real clothes, two of them means nobody is negotiating, and the storage carries over into the drawers and cabinetry around the bed. A bedroom LED TV is available if you want one.

The bathroom has a separate shower, and the fixtures and storage are sized for people who are living in the trailer rather than passing through it.

Packing up in the morning

Teardown reverses the setup. The lighted tongue jack, the One Control panel for the slides and awning, and the enclosed dump station mean the morning routine happens at two spots instead of six. Check the battery level on the monitor before you pull out, confirm the slides are seated, and go.

Frequently asked questions

What truck do I need to tow this floorplan?

Dry weight is 8,680 pounds with a 1,090-pound hitch weight and a GVWR of 8,790, so plan on a properly equipped half-ton with available payload or a three-quarter-ton, plus a weight-distributing hitch.

Is this a good floorplan for full-time living?

The features point that way: three slides for floor space, his-and-hers full-length closets, 6 feet 10 inches of interior height, a 30,000 BTU furnace and an insulated, heated underbelly with R-9 walls, R-20 roof and R-24 floor.

How long can I dry camp in it?

You've got 45 gallons of fresh water and 32 gallons each of grey and black, with an optional 200-watt solar panel and 30-amp MPPT controller available to keep the battery charged. Water is usually what sends you to a dump station first.

How many people does it sleep?

Six.

Can I add a second air conditioner?

Yes. A second 13,500 BTU unit is available, and you can also step the main unit up to 15,000 BTU.
